Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight breaks record for most boxing appearances outside Las Vegas

In the record books, the eagerly awaited boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has already been confirmed. According to Paul's co-owner Most Valuable Promotions, the fight's promoter, the fight is expected to draw over 70,000 spectators to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Friday night. Eighty thousand people can be accommodated in the Dallas Cowboys' stadium.

 The promoter claimed that $17.8 million had been made from gate receipts alone. Because of this, it is the largest boxing gate outside of Nevada in history. When Canelo Álvarez and Billy Joe Saunders fought at AT&T Stadium in 2021, the gate receipts reached $9 million, setting a new record. MVP claimed the gate is more expensive than any UFC outside of Las Vegas.
